(link to new sub page)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ATAC has two types of members, consumers and agencies. Consumers are people with a disability who use AT, or their family members\/guardians.ATAC Member Roles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maine CITE is federally funded by the 21st Century Assistive Technology Act (AT ACT) which provides guidelines and requirements for the program activities. ATAC members provide advice and feedback to help Maine CITE perform these activities laid out in the \u201cState Plan for assistive technology\u201d submitted to the US Department of Health and Human Services; and provide a stakeholder voice about issues related to access to and acquisition of assistive technology in Maine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ATAC Member Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Attend and actively participate in all ATAC quarterly meetings. Maine CITE plans to begin having one in-person meeting per year. The in-person meeting will also have a virtual option. Maine CITE does not pay ATAC members.
